Our upcoming Second Grade program is being designed to help learners build reading confidence, writing skills, math understanding, creativity, and classroom connection in a warm online learning environment.

Course plans will support reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, phonics review, and growing independence with grade-level text.

Learners will continue building number sense, addition, subtraction, place value, early multiplication thinking, time, money, measurement, and problem-solving.

A New Full-Year Supplemental Second Grade Experience

This upcoming Second Grade program is being built to support homeschool families and families supplementing their child’s education with live online instruction.

Learners will join consistent weekly classes with a familiar teacher, predictable routines, and age-appropriate Second Grade academic practice.

The goal is to make this first year of Second Grade at Sykeke Learning Academy simple, fun, engaging, and confidence-building for every learner.

Class Requirements

Printer Recommended

Worksheets are used regularly. Families should plan to print weekly materials when possible.

Adult Support

Young learners may need help with logging in, supplies, muting/unmuting, and completing hands-on activities.

Supplies

Basic supplies such as pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, and paper may be used during some activities.

Classroom Readiness

Learners should be ready to participate kindly, follow teacher directions, and try their best.
